Unlike some other countries, here the right to an invention by an employee does not automatically fall to the employer. An in-depth knowledge of the legal regulations is a prerequisite for establishing company procedures so as to ensure a transfer of the property rights to the employer which is as easy as possible, practical but legally secure.
